If you’ve been in the Milton Park area the past few days, you might have noticed the garbage starting to pile up on the streets. Garbage bags full of bedding, lamps, tables, and couches discarded by students. That’s where the Trash2Treasure project comes in. The group's members scan the Milton Park streets to recover furniture and objects to donate to other community organizations. We spoke with Eloïse Figaszewski . She's in charge of community engagement for the Société pour l'action, l'éducation et la sensibilisation environnementale de Montréal. That’s the organization behind the Trash2Treasure project.
